Breaking Her Rules

Breaking Her Rules
By Jennifer Snow
July 2015

Walker Adams was supposed to follow in his lawyer father’s footsteps, but instead he’s training to be an MMA fighter. And while he works for his chance to make it in the Maximum Fight League, he’s bunking on his baby sister’s best friend’s couch. Gracie Andrews is all grown up—in all the right places. But she’s engaged to the fight match-maker who holds Walker’s career in his hands…

Gracie had almost convinced herself that she’d put her silly childhood crush on Walker to rest. But the sight of him sleeping in only a pair of boxer briefs makes it clear that some things never change. And as old sparks turn to flames, Gracie is forced to decide between the future she thought she wanted or the man she’s never stopped loving…

Between The Pages
Packed with sizzling chemistry and emotion. While not a fan of MMA, I found the story quite enjoyable. The plot was smooth and the dialogue moves the story. The interaction between the main characters is fun and makes the reader look forward to their next encounter. Walker is sensitive and sweet, and you’ll root for him to get his girl. When his father makes an entrance near the end, the emotion kicks into high gear. I liked Grace, but she has a boyfriend through most of the story. I had hoped she’d leave him long before her birthday and didn’t understand why she stayed with him afterward. The supporting characters were fun and added to the enjoyment of the read. I look forward to reading about Tyson in the Beyond the Cage series.
