The Author's Den - Lawless Love

Joining me in The Author's Den on this cold, winter day is Andrea Downing. Andrea and I are enjoying a glass of cabernet sauvignon!

We're sitting by the fire and chatting about her new audio release, Lawless Love.

Andrea, please tell us a little about yourself.
A native New Yorker who has spent most of her life drinking tea in the U.K., Andrea Downing now gets her coffee from Zabars in New York or drinks Jackson Hole Coffee in Wyoming. Her background in publishing and English Language teaching has transferred into fiction writing, and her love of horses, ranches, and rodeo is reflected in award-winning and best-selling historical and contemporary western romances.

What’s your guilty writing procrastination secret?
Exercise! All that sitting at the computer needs a bit of relief.

Where is your favourite writing spot?
I have a study/guest room – generally more study/office than guestroom.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
Getting outside, traveling, being with family, eating out!

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
I’ve just finished a women’s fiction that takes place in the ‘70s—such a time of change and upheaval, conflicting lifestyles, and advances in the way we looked at things—sex, politics, fashion. It bears a lot of similarity to now in many ways, too.

Where can we find you and your books online?

Now available in Audible!
Lacey Everhart has carved out a tough existence in the wilds of 1880s Wyoming, working hard to build a secure life for herself and her younger brother, Luke. She will stop at nothing to protect what’s hers and keep them safe. Even if it means keeping a secret that could destroy their lives.

Marshal Dylan J. Kane is a man who considers everything as black and white, right or wrong. He's never seen life any other way until he sets eyes on Lacey. Suddenly the straight and narrow that he's followed has a few twists and turns. Loving Lacey offers the home life for which he hankers...but can he really love a woman who seems to be plain lawless?
