Instead of doing an awards event for every reading genre, where some categories only had one book and others had several books, we decided to do a Between The Pages Best of 2025.

2025 - A Year in Review

We read a lot of great books in 2025. Many of those books received five-star reviews.

Surprisingly, our total of books read was lower than the past couple of years. However, some of the books we read did not get posted on our website or Goodreads.

Our Goodreads Year in Books states our top genres were mystery and thriller, romance, and contemporary fiction. It definitely was a good reading year.

After going through the books reviews of 2025, we decided to not have an award for each genre. Some genres only had one book and others had too many five stars to select just one. So, we decided to do a Best of 2025, we where selected our top ten best reads.
