Loved this book! Ozzy is the perfect hero. Not only is he a dashing firefighting hero, but he has the biggest heart. He struggles with his past image, but Jo sees him for who he is. Jo is struggling to retain her independence, but soon finds herself immersed in the family of Butterfly Harbor…and Ozzy. The romance is tender and sweet. Revisiting the town and its characters is always a pleasure. There’s a small mystery involving the construction site, and we meet a new hero named Lancelot. The ending leaves a hint of what’s to come next, which was a perfect hook that will have you anxiously awaiting the next book. Building A Surprise Family is book 10 in the Butterfly Harbor series and while it stands well on its own, I highly recommending diving into the whole series.
