Finding Light After Loss
Loss changes the shape of our days. It can arrive suddenly or slowly, and its impact lingers long after life around us seems to move on. Whether it’s the passing of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a chapter of life that can’t be revisited, grief settles into our days in ways we don’t always anticipate. It simply becomes part of who we are.
Yet often, healing begins when we allow ourselves to remember what was beautiful. A shared laugh. A small joy. A lesson learned. A memory that warms instead of wounds. A moment of kindness that still warms us years later. These memories aren’t meant to trap us in the past. They’re meant to anchor us as we move forward. They are reminders that love leaves an imprint deeper than loss.
Healing often begins when we honor what was good. The love that left an imprint. Grief may stay, but it evolves. It becomes a companion that teaches us patience, compassion, and gratitude for the moments that matter.
Still moments remind us that even during loss, a light is worth noticing and memories worth cherishing as we move forward.
