The judges votes are in early! I've complied the list of winners for the cover contest, so instead of waiting until next Monday to post the results, I'll be posting the list on Friday. Be sure to drop by Friday to see if your favourite cover won!

The deadline for entries in the Spring Cover Contest was last Friday. We have 43 awesome covers in the contest! There's a week left to vote for your favourite. Remember one vote per person (duplicate votes will be discredited). Also note: all negative comments will be deleted. Please only post positive votes. The deadline for view votes is this Friday (April 1). The entries will then be forwarded to our panel of judges. Final results will be posted on April 11. Good luck to all our entrants! Wow, we've received a lot of great cover entries in the contest! I've a few updates to mention regarding the Spring Cover Contest. 1. I've decided to allow all covers to be reviewed in the last round of judging. So the entries that do not have 20 votes (or more), will be included in the final round (grand prize winner). But that doesn't mean you should stop urging family and friends for votes because there's still the top the viewer vote that gets highlighted in the May issue of the magazine. 2. Remember, one vote per person! 3. We've also opened the contest to Young Adult covers. 4. There's another advantage to winning...I'm designing two buttons to be awarded to the view vote winner and the grand prize winner to display on their blog or web site! Good luck everyone! Due to an exciting venture Still Moments is considering, which will require extensive research and time, we have decided to speed up the dates on the cover contest. The only issue with this change is the timing to receive payment. Our result decision was to reduce the entry fee to FREE! Entrants will now have their covers posted for voting as soon as they are approved for entry (submission guidelines must be followed). The new deadline for entry is March 25, 2011, so get those covers in now! Check our original contest post March 9, 2011 to view the highlighted date changes. Please note, payments previously submitted have been returned.

Jump Into Spring By Putting Your Best Cover Forward Still Moments Magazine is happy to announce its very first COVER Contest! ● Contest Begins: March 10, 2011 ● Entry Fee: FREE ● Eligibility: Open to the following categories: Chick Lit, Contemporary, Erotic, Historical, Inspirational, Paranormal, Suspense, and Western. All stories must be a category romance or contain romantic elements. ● Deadline for Submissions: March 27, 2011 ● Deadline for Online Voting: April 1, 2011 ● Panel Judging: April 4-8, 2011 ● Results Posting: April 11, 2011 Winners and finalists will be announced on the web site and Facebook Page April 11, 2011. Submission Guidelines: ● The contest is open to books available in Print or Ebook formats. Multiple entries accepted. ● Send each entry, under separate cover to: stillmomentsmagazine@gmail.com with ‘Jump into Spring Cover Contest’ in the subject line. ● Each entry must include: book title / jpeg attachment of your cover / a tag line (no more than 25 characters) / story category. ● Entries must be received by 12:00 midnight AST, March 27, 2011 or eligibility will be forfeited. There are two ways to win! ● Viewer Voting Eligible covers will be posted on the Still Moments website and Facebook. Encourage your family, friends, and fellow authors to either leave a comment on the website or ‘like’ your cover in Facebook. Each comment/like counts as one ‘vote’. Multiple votes from the same source will be discredited and deleted. Viewer voting ends April 3, 2011. The winner of viewer voting will have their cover, blurb, and small bio highlighted in the May issue of Still Moments Magazine’s E-News, Website and Facebook. Second and third place finalists will receive honourable mentions. ● Panel Voting The top three covers (receiving 20 or more votes) from each category will be presented to our panel of judges, who will choose a Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize includes a cover, blurb, and small bio featured in the May issue of Still Moments Magazine’s E-News, a highlight on our Website and Facebook during the month of May, and a mystery prize!
