During her 25 year career in Administration, and achieving success as Director of Administration and Marketing, Darlene (aka DarleneLF) excelled in the art of mastering skills in professional letters, newsletters, press releases, promotional items, design, and editing.

In 2003 she independently developed and published, Still Moments Magazine, a print publication, through 2005. It received much interest and thriving readership across Canada, US, Europe, and around the globe.

Darlene now spends her days in her home office plotting out her next novel, with her yellow lab lying close by. Her debut novel, Keeping Secrets, is due as an ebook release August 2011 from Secret Cravings Publishing.

The History of Still Moments

Independently developed and published, Still Moments magazine ran from 2003 through 2005 with thriving readership across Canada, US, Europe, and around the globe.

Still Moments Magazine was created for “The Busy Woman”. With today's schedule of working a day job, driving the children to one event or another, housework, cooking meals, etc. there’s little time left in a woman’s day to enjoy a quiet moment. When we do get that rare moment, it should be spent doing something that relives the stress of our day, an escape...a “Still Moment”.

Due to the overwhelming requests that came in for the magazine to return, Still Moments is receiving a rebirth in the form of an online magazine. The new formatted magazine will follow the path of its successor with an editorial philosophy of positive reading and enjoyment.
