Home To Stay
Kate James
July 2017
She's bringing his son home.
A missing little boy triggers San Diego K-9 officer Shannon Clemens and her canine search-and-rescue partner into instant action. For the rookie cop haunted by a childhood tragedy, bringing Sawyer Evans's son safely home is more than a job. It's a mission she can't fail… But forging a friendship with the father is a tactical error that could compromise her first solo assignment. Yet the deepening bond between them is almost impossible to resist…
Between The Pages
A sweet romance with a suspenseful twist. The author sets up the opening to immediately grab your attention. The action and drama are well-paced and interesting. Shannon and Sawyer flipped on and off with their budding relationship, but their chemistry never wavered. Shannon’s back story is filled with emotion making the reader feel for her struggle to keep the job professional. Visiting past characters in the San Diego K-9 series was an additional bonus. The plot has you sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting for the next scene to begin. The suspense is perfectly crafted as it twists and turns to an outcome you don’t expect. I hope the author takes us on another journey within this K-9 series as you can never get enough of those dogs.

Thank you for the wonderful review! I'm glad you enjoyed Home to Stay. As for another book in the series, you've already met the hero and heroine (and the dog!) in Home to Stay. :)
