Between The Pages 
This is Daryl Loveland’s story, book six in the Rocky Mountain Cowboys series. A story about lost love and second chances. Cassidy left to pursue her dream to become a journalist and Daryl stayed behind to help with the family ranch, as any cowboy would do. Daryl is a likable and strong character, raising his two children, most of the time alone. Cassidy is Daryl’s rebirth and their connection is sweet. The story immediately captures your attention with plenty of action, and from there, the author skillfully draws you in with lots of ‘pull at your heart strings’ and emotional scenes. The added mystery of Cassidy’s accident makes this book a page-turner, though I would like to have had Cassidy’s memory return at the scene of the accident, which she only encounters briefly, but had a memory flash. Other interesting twists include Joy’s health and a mystery man who claims to be family. These twists will hopefully continue into book seven, where I’m hoping the hero will be Daryl’s brother, Maverick, who stood out in every scene he appeared in. Can’t wait to read more of this family saga!
