Between The Pages 

This story had such a fun plot of how opposites attract. Harper is a social media expert and Wyatt knows nothing about it, which had many scenes filled with humour. His easy-going personality to stay married and to go along with posing for Harper’s pictures, made him a perfect hero. This book dives a little deeper into the Eagle Springs Blackwell siblings, as well as Harper’s relationship with her mother. And watching Denny and Big E slowly reconnect is enjoyable. While each book in this series can be read as stand-alone titles, I really enjoyed how book two flawlessly flowed from book one. A great weekend read.

The beautiful cover draws you in immediately! And the story is so good! Amanda and Blake are the perfect couple that you root for from the first chapter. Best friends who are meant to be together. The plot is emotionally charged. There are smiles, a few laughs, tension, tears, and an adorable dog. A superb cast and a picturesque setting. This book is all about family and friends…a must read romance.

Book four in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers multi-author series stars Tyler Blackwell and his story flows seamlessly from book three. Tyler comes off as a bit self-absorbed in the first few chapters, but once his character opens up, you find a sensitive guy who believes he’s not loveable. And while I liked Tyler, I absolutely adored Hadley. In the previous three books, the Blackwell brothers took the limelight, but Hadley stood out and made book four shine. She goes along with Tyler’s fiancée scheme in order to get a promotion. She’s a delightful character – sweet, smart, and fun. Some of my favourite scenes were: 1. When Ethan and Grace bombard Hadley with the truth. 2. When the brothers have an ‘intervention’ with Tyler. 3. When Tyler reads his mother’s letters to his grandmother. At the end of this story a big question remains, leading to the fifth and final book in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series. Will Big E make an appearance and how will the brothers react? I can’t wait to find out!

Between The Pages 
A heartwarming romance that holds your attention from start to finished. A beautifully written story of emotion and captivating characters. Dean and Faith are superb leading characters, and the author weaves in a cast from the town that are equally enjoyable. The character development between family and friends is written so well, you’ll want to read more about them. Faith’s brother, Sawyer, was adorable and a favourite, and I hope he gets a story of his own. The plot is engaging and has you not wanting to put this book down. An impressive novel for a first introduction to the town of Grass Lake, Tennessee, and the Grace Note Records series. I can’t brag enough about this story that brought a tear to my eye...twice! This is my first read by Ms. Vastine and won’t be my last. I’m anxiously awaiting the second book in this series.
