Between The Pages - Wyoming Rodeo Rescue

Wyoming Rodeo Rescue
Carol Ross
September 2022

Will a Wyoming cowboy…
Rescue her heart?

Famous equestrian Summer Davies travels to Wyoming to escape a scandal…and rescue Levi Blackwell’s rodeo. When she arrives early, the only place to stay is with the ornery—and gorgeous—cowboy. Their commitment to making the rodeo a success, and Summer’s affection for his young daughter, draws them together. When he learns about her past, will he still want her help? Or will he end up chasing her away?

Between The Pages
The third book in the Blackwells of Eagle Springs series was such a sweet story. The author’s storytelling draws you into the pages and provides a visual of the scenery and characters. Levi and Summer are solid leads and Levi’s daughter is adorable. The farm includes a variety of rescued animals, which were an enjoyable addition to the story. I’ve never heard of a Barndominium/Barndo, but now I want one. I recommend this heartwarming story that brings the reader closer to solving the mystery of who wants to put Eagle Springs underwater.

Between The Pages - Montana Match

Montana Match

Thanksgiving in Montana

Is about family—and love!

Thanksgiving is the perfect time for Fiona Harrison to turn her life around. And she is sure finding a suitable husband will please her newfound family in Montana. When a dating app sends her every dud in town, handsome bartender Simon Clarke offers to be her matchmaker. If only Simon fit her criteria… Learning the truth about the twinkle-eyed charmer could change everything—but for better or worse?

Between The Pages
Another Blackwell hit, but this one adds a good slice of humour. The premise is cute with Fiona looking for her perfect match, and Simon lights up the pages. Their connection is perfect and their fun banter makes this story a page-turner that reads well from beginning to end. There are so many great scenes that have you laughing and smiling. The cast in the Blackwell series is one of the best and this book adds some new ones that became fast favourites such as Simon’s friend, Luke, who definitely deserves a story to find his perfect match. If you enjoy reading heartwarming romance mixed with humour then this is your must read.

Between The Pages - The Rancher’s Twins

The Rancher’s Twins

She’s not the country nanny he advertised for

But she could be perfect for him…

Jon Blackwell needs a woman ready to tackle the duties of a cattle ranch and two lively, take-no-prisoners twin girls. But ever since Lydia Newbury showed up at his six-generation Montana spread, the frazzled single father is rethinking, well, everything. The Philadelphia dazzler is a marvel. What he doesn’t know is the secret that has Lydia on the run…

Between The Pages
A perfect start of the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series! This introduction story sets the level high. The author’s writing is smooth and her descriptive voice is well crafted. The setting is picturesque on a cattle ranch in Montana. The main characters (a handsome rugged cowboy and a city girl) are captivating and their budding attraction is endearing. Then there are the twins (the cover is too cute!). I expected them to continue their rampage, but the author twists them into adorable little girls ready to learn and to please their new nanny - a wonderful twist. The cast is beyond interesting and I already have favourites: Trout (the dog), Sophie, Zach, Tom, Scooter...just to name a few. A memorable scene is when Lydia asks the cowboys to help her as she escapes the dance, which is a big reveal to the story line’s hint of suspense. I highly recommend The Rancher’s Twins, which I read in just two days, and it is the first of a five authors/separate story series of five brothers. I have the next book, The Rancher’s Rescue, already downloaded and I can’t wait to read it.
