Ms. Rock is a master at placing readers in her stories. The visual she creates has you part of the setting. You’ll sit on the porch at the Cade family ranch, visit the horses in the barn, and roam the pasture. Packed with emotion, book two of the Rocky Mountain Cowboys deals with disabilities, obstacles, following your dreams, and friends afraid to fall in love. While this book is part of a series, it stands well on its own. The heartwarming connection between Amberley and Jared is captivating, and this story has more. The on-going feud between the Cade and Loveland families is an attention getter. There are so many great characters you want to have their own story, such as Jewel Cade and Heath Loveland, and Maverick Loveland. Thankfully book three, Bad Boy Rancher, which stars Justin Cade is close to the top of my reading pile.
