Teaser: In truth, Suzanne’s feeling that sex would somehow be her ticket to the good things in life, so long as it was sex on her terms, made its way gradually into her psyche, almost without her consciously recognizing it.
A call girl becomes enmeshed in a plot to seduce the president, a scheme that begins well but soon threatens to end in disaster for both her and the president.
Sexually abused as a child, Suzanne Dahlstrom grows up determined to get her own back against men. As a highly-skilled call girl, exploiting men's greatest weakness, their sex drive, she is offered a princely sum to seduce and marry the president's younger brother, putting her in a position to seduce the president himself. When he's found in bed with his own brother's wife, his political career will be over. All goes according to plan, until a drastic turn of events threatens the lives of both the president and Suzanne herself.
Author Bio.
I am an attorney and Professor of Law Emeritus at Seattle University. I graduated from UC Berkeley, receiving the Gold Medal for Scholarship. Having spent many years writing articles and treatises about the law, I now write novels in which I get to make up the rules, and in which the law is frequently broken. (And I don't have to add footnotes!) My novels include the “Mrs. Kaplan” cozy mystery series (Mrs. Kaplan and the Matzoh Ball of Death; A Pain in the Tuchis; and Oy Vey, Maria!); the award-winning caper crime story Murder With Strings Attached; and the romantic suspense novel To Seduce a President. My wife and I live in University Place, Washington, where, in addition to reading and writing, I play clarinet and enjoy tennis, biking, exotic cars, model railroading, and various arts and crafts. I have no idea where I find the time for it all.

We asked Mark...why do you like being a writer?
Mark: "Being a writer allows me to express ideas that would otherwise remain only in my mind. I’ve always loved to make up stories, whether bedtime stories for our daughter or stories inspired by people I’ve met or current events. I also just enjoy the process of writing, creating a world with the people, the settings, and the rules of my choosing."
