Teaser: His body shook as his vampiric senses dulled. And like many a broken man, he wept. Each strangled sob stuck in his throat.
"Shall I keep humanity safe or let seven deadly sires loose on the world?"
Not a typical choice for an arrogant vampire. Draven is brutally bloodied and humiliated by a powerful sire in another realm. Barely escaping through the portal, he is trapped in the ethical dilemma of treason or compliance. For a century, he has existed in the morally gray, keeping certain secrets. He has just assisted two notorious mystical warriors, and decades ago, he abandoned Luna, his immortal love, sending her into seclusion. While he suffers and heals, Luna is brought to him, which deepens his dilemma. As Draven considers his options, this vampire must place his trust in those whose mission is to destroy him. Their complex plan to trap the sires may result in Draven's final death. Can he pull it off? The crucial decision is his alone.

We asked Mickey, where are your favorite three places to visit - and why?
Mickey:
Many years ago, I had the wonderful experience of spending three months in Europe. The first two places, I visited back then. Iceland, more recently. I’d happily go back to visit all three.
1. Portofino, Italy. The Amalfi coast is gorgeous. Portofino is a beautiful little town where the piazza reaches out to the Mediterranean Sea. The view is spectacular and the main shopping area typically Italian.
2. Scotland: Edinburgh is beautiful and full of history. The people were so very friendly. But my favorite spot is the Highlands where you can walk through the heather on the hills and view the angry lochs and fabulous landscapes. It is a place to heal your soul.
3. Iceland: The waterfalls, the black sand, the rugged landscape and, of course, the wild ponies make this country one of the most challenging and breathtaking. Sitting in the natural hot springs was luxurious. My children and I did the Ring Road Trip – something I’d highly recommend, giving you a true feel of the people, the customs/cuisines, and Iceland’s pristine beauty.
