Monday Mood - Tender Misdemeanors

Are you in the mood for a forest standoff that sparks more than just conflict? When law and outlaw collide, survival might depend on trust—and something deeper. We've got the book for you! Tender Misdemeanors by Alana Lorens.

Book Title: Tender Misdemeanors

Release Date: March 2020

Teaser: If Caryn were to be true to her oath, she had to prosecute this case to the fullest extent-- No matter what I think about Levi Bradshaw as a man.

They can’t help falling in love—but should the cost be murder?

Caryn Orlane has law enforcement in her blood; her father was a cop, and his father, too. She's a federal agent in northwest Montana, protecting the old forests and keeping the peace.

Levi Bradshaw also believes in protecting the forests, but has a very different MO. He's the leader of a group of eco-warriors, determined to save the trees of the Bitterroot by legal—and illegal—means.

When they meet in the woods at gunpoint, their encounter ignites a spark of interest, despite operating on opposite sides of the law. When their worlds turn on them, they only grow closer. If they don’t work together, can either survive?

We asked Alana where are her favorite three places to visit - and why?
Alana:  I love the Florida Keys and Key West. I was lucky enough to live in south Florida for a dozen years and our weekend trips often included those pristine beaches and turquoise waters. I also honeymooned in Key West—which became the setting for a historical romance I wrote, Prophecies and Promises. I lived in Missoula, Montana for a short time, but the northwest Montana mountains and forests fixed themselves in my soul. Tender Misdemeanors is set there, as are several urban fantasy books by my alter ego Lyndi Alexander. The air is pure, crystal cold on winter days, which is why I don’t live there. It can be winter from Labor Day though Memorial Day---too cold for me!! The other place I love is anywhere my children are—I love visiting them and the grandchildren, and anywhere they are can be “home” for me.
