Between The Pages - A Bitter Reunion

A Bitter Reunion
By JN Johnson
April 2013

Lilly Myers ran from Clearwater ten years ago to start a new life as a nurse, leaving all of the pain and anguish of her broken heart behind. The last thing she ever wanted was to return home and face the grueling questions about her sudden disappearance. But the invitation to her ten-year class reunion and the growing need to see her family has her reluctantly boarding the first plane back.

Between The Pages of this story is a lost love story between Lilly and Joshua. I was rooting for their reunion as soon as they reconnected. The winter scenery was written so well, I wanted to jump into the snow. The plot flows smoothly and the characters are enjoyable. Prepare yourself for winter with this sweet novella. The Clearwater Series is definitely one to check out.

Between The Pages - Love by the Book

Love By The Book
By Angela Scavone
October 2012

Fairytales don't always work out the way you plan.

Jenn Taylor has been with her husband, Jack, since they were in college. They had a fairytale life plan. They were going to finish college, get married, and have three perfect children all two and a half years apart.

Before they knew it, the three perfect children become four not-so-perfect children. They find themselves so busy keeping a handle on work and children, they don't have the time or energy to keep the spark of romance in their marriage.

Jenn complains to her friends, who suggest she should recreate some of the scenes from her much loved romance novels and surprise her husband.

All the while, she is trying to contend with three boys who do not know how to stay out of trouble and an environmentally and socially conscious daughter who is trying to become a vegan.

Is her marriage doomed to stay in a rut forever? Will she finally succeed in bringing the romance back? Or will she end up permanently injuring her husband with all the romantic scene mishaps?

Between The Pages of this story is a fun contemporary romance. The characters are believable and the quirky plot will have you laughing out loud. If you want a story that will hold your interest right to the end, filled with romance and humor, this one is for you.

Between The Pages - The Good Daughter

The Good Daughter
By Jane Porter
February 2013

Kit Brennan has always been the most grounded of her sisters. A Catholic school English teacher for seventeen years and a constant giver, her decisions have been sound—just not very satisfying. Her fortieth birthday is right around the corner, causing Kit to consider some wilder notions, like skipping right past the love and marriage to raising a child all by herself...

A girls' weekend away is just the reprieve Kit needs from school, Mr. Wrongs, and life-changing decisions. It's there that she meets a man who's dangerous; a man who challenges who she thought she was, or rather should be. Kit wants to indulge herself this once, but with one of her students in crisis and the weight of her family's burdens weighing heavy on her heart, Kit isn't sure if now is the time to let her own desires take flight...

Between The Pages of this book is a captivating story you won’t want to put down! The Good Daughter is the second book from The Brennan Sisters series. Spellbinding characters and intense emotion fill the pages of this riveting story. I highly recommend The Good Daughter to readers who love a strong story and a heroine you can relate to and root for. Next on my reading list...The Good Wife (The Brennan Sisters Book 3)
