Bad Boy Rancher
Karen Rock
April 2018
He’s not the only one who needs saving…
But maybe they can save each other?
Dark, brooding, dangerous…and possibly suicidal. Renegade rancher Justin Cade was exactly the kind of man former army chaplain Brielle Thompson needed to avoid after escaping the horrors of Afghanistan with an honorable discharge—and PTSD. The whole point of moving to the remote Rocky Mountains of Colorado was to leave the darkness behind, not fall back into it. But falling she is…
Between The Pages
Justin Cade leads the third story in the Rocky Mountain Cowboys and he is a great leading man. This handsome, daredevil, bad boy cowboy is broken from the loss of his twin brother, which has Justin reckless from the first pages. His chemistry with Brielle is captivating as she helps transform his gruff demeanor to charming and irresistible. Ms. Rock is an expert at giving the reader a wonderful cast of characters, each with their own personality. The family bond of the Cades and Lovelands is highlighted in each story of this series. Even the secondary cast of characters in the rehabilitation center draw you into their lives. Some of my favourite scenes are between Justin and Cole Loveland, as well as the moment Justin holds James and Sofia’s baby in his arms. Filled with a good punch of emotion, this heartwarming story is a must read. I am looking forward to reading the next book, A Cowboy’s Pride, which hopefully gives us a closer look into the Loveland family and stars Cole Loveland.
