The Author's Den - Destiny Calling

Joining me in The Author's Den on this beautiful summer day is Maureen L. Bonatch. As the sun shines through the windows of the den, Maureen and I are enjoying a glass of red wine and chatting about her book, Destiny Calling.

Maureen, tell us a little about yourself.
If I were to talk about myself I might say… Maureen Bonatch grew up in small town Pennsylvania and her love of the four seasons—hockey, biking, sweat pants and hibernation—keeps her there. While immersed in writing or reading paranormal romance and fantasy, she survives on caffeine, wine, music, and laughter. A feisty Shih Tzu keeps her in line.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?
Hmmm…usually it’s wrestling to catch up on my never-ending email or organizing the mounds of sticky notes and paperwork on my desk–or else sometimes I lose way too much time scrolling Facebook. I also can’t resist a good movie, but I justify that it is research.

What does your writing space look like?
It took me years but I finally claimed the guest room as my office. I moved things around last year so I can look out the window while I write. I have my book covers framed and hanging on the wall and a couple shelves full of books.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
My favorite thing to do is watch a good movie. Although I try to get in some walking or bicycle riding to counteract all that sitting.

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
Book #2 of The Enchantlings Series is with my editor now. Hopefully, I’ll have news of a release date this year and a cover soon for Not A Chance so you can all catch up with Hope’s adventures.

Where can we find you and your books online?
I spend most of my time on my website, or my author Facebook page, but I’ll share some of my social media sites, including my Amazon author page with all my books.

Let's take a peek at, Destiny Calling.
Hope only wants to find out if her ability to infuse euphoria or despair with her touch makes her the devil's spawn, or his exterminator. But when the woman who raised her is murdered by something not human, she loses the only family she knew and discovers one she might wish she hadn’t.

Drawn back to the home town she vowed never to return to, her ability is seen as an asset to everyone but Hope, and she doesn't know who to trust. Her family wants her to help them overcome an enemy oppressing the human population, while the man of her dreams is courting her for the Underworld.

Time is running out, and Hope’s choice may be made for her, as she discovers she’s a pawn in a bigger game played by a merciless ruler who doesn't lose.

The Author's Den - The Golden Lady

Joining me in The Author's Den on this beautiful day is Roberta DeCaprio. As the sun shines through the windows of the den on this beautiful summer day, Roberta and I are celebrating her birthday by enjoying a chilled glass of water with a twist of lime and chatting about her book, The Golden Lady.

Roberta, please tell us a little about yourself.
Born in 1950 with a walking disability, I took to reading books for enjoyment, as physical activities were a challenge. Since reading begets writing, I began creating poems, plays, and short stories….thus moving into a novel-writing career. Since 2004, I’ve had 10 books published, worked as a columnist and assistant editor for two national publications dealing with the rights of the disabled, and co-wrote a sit-com with my screen-play writer husband that has recently gained the attention of a local producer. I am a mother of two, grandmother of four, and share my upstate New York home with my spouse and two rescue cats, Mikko and Misha.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?
I love television and movies. At the beginning of each week, I take the TV Guide and plan my television viewing, making sure to catch all the good shows, either online or on the tube. It seems, after watching a show and scrutinizing the plot and characters, I am inspired to either continue working on some project in progress or creating something new.

What does your writing space look like?
My home office is converted from one of the four bedrooms in my home. I have a desk I inherited from a great uncle that my computer sets on, bookcases filled with books by such authors as Diana Gabaldon, Karen Marie Moning, and my muse, the late Kathleen E. Woodiwiss (whose A Rose in Amber inspired my first historical novel, The Golden Lady). Also shelves housing some of my doll collection, a table for my printer, a few filing cabinets, and an artificial fireplace are a part of my writing den. On one of my filing cabinets sits an old Remington typewriter, used by my father, who wrote poems and song lyrics.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
Definitely, reading. I also enjoy Native American bead working, listening to classical music and that of the 1950’s & 60’s, giving myself a manicure, and eating chocolate. You never can eat too much chocolate!

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
I’ve decided it’s time I write a historical with a walking impaired heroine...finding her true love and hero against all odds. Back in the day, such people were locked away in attics or rooms, as they were classified a disappointment or a shame to the family. I’d like to break through that stigma with a heartwarming and true-love novel that will last with a reader long after the book ends.

Where can we find you and your books online?
Twitter: www.twitter.com/@robertaauthor
You can find my books on Amazon, Wings Press (www.wings-press.com), The Wild Rose Press (www.thewildrosepress.com), my blog, The Word Merchants Society (www.theworldmerchantssociety.blogspot.com), and my Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/roberta.c.decaprio).

Let's take a peek at, The Golden Lady.
Loving someone is hard...Especially if they're suppose to be your enemy!

Willow Creek, Arizona saw its share of Indian attacks. Amanda Gregory witnessed the sorrow first hand with her father’s murder. Refusing Reverend Joshua Holmes’ proposal, Amanda decides to stay on her farm and run it alone. When she saves Proud Eagle, a wounded Western Apache warrior, he wins her heart….calling the fair-haired Amanda, his Golden Lady. And Amanda’s hatred of Indians begins to change. The night the Chiricahuas attack her farm and burn it to the ground, Proud Eagle helps her to escape, taking Amanda back to his tribe to become his wife. But their love is forbidden, and Amanda soon finds herself fighting the biggest battle of her life….the right to love her enemy.

The Author's Den - Dancing in the Sand

Joining me in The Author's Den on this beautiful summer day is Maria Imbalzano. As the sun shines through the windows of the den, Maria and I are enjoying a glass of Pinot Grigio and chatting about her book, Dancing in the Sand.

Maria, tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a retired matrimonial lawyer who now writes full time. Instead of drafting motions, legal memoranda, and briefs, although fascinating, I spend my days creating memorable characters and taking them on their emotional journeys through my contemporary romance novels. In addition to writing fiction, I’m on the Board of the Thomas Edison State University Foundation where I chair the Special Events Committee and I’m very involved with Dress for Success Central Jersey, having been a founding Board member. I also serve on the finance committee for The Present Day Club. I have received the distinguished Family of Edison Award for my work with The Thomas Edison State University Foundation, the Iron Mike Professional Achievement Award from Trenton Catholic Academy and I was inducted into the Italian American National Hall of Fame. My novel, “Unchained Memories,” won the Wisconsin Romance Writers Write Touch Readers’ Award and the ACRA Readers’ Choice Heart of Excellence Award. My latest novel, “Dancing in the Sand” has garnered many five-star reviews.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?
Crossword puzzles, crytoquips, scrambles, and word searches in the local newspaper.

What does your writing space look like?
I love my writing office which I shamelessly stole from my husband the day after he had a desk delivered. I now have his teak desk with three separate pieces that contain drawers for all my files and manuscripts. There’s a big comfy chair and ottoman in the room used for reading, an elliptical machine to exercise and a television to watch while exercising.

Our cat, Lucky, is usually a part of the office décor. The photo of the desk is deceiving. It is never that clean.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
I go to Jazzercize, which I love because it’s dancing through exercise. I’m taking a literature course at Princeton University and intend to take at least one course every semester. And I read. During the summer, I love to walk or bicycle on the boardwalk from Asbury Park to Belmar and beyond. Going out to dinner with family and friends is always on the agenda.

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
I just signed a contract for a four-book series called the Sworn Sister Series. It’s about four high school girlfriends, now in their early thirties, who are each going through major life events (divorce, broken engagement, adoption, career transitions). There are romances in each book along with much angst and conflict. The women help each other navigate through their traumas and romantic relationships. The first book in the series, “Sworn to Forget” should be released during the summer.

Where can we find you and your books online?

Let's take a peek at, Dancing in the Sand.
An accomplished dance major in New York City, Ava Harrington is pursuing her dream of becoming a professional in a national dance company. But a celebratory weekend in Newport, where she meets the man of her fantasies, has devastating consequences that change her life forever.

Brian Stanhope, a Harvard graduate, poised to join his father’s company, suffers a brain injury in a horseback riding accident, which affects his memory. He has no recollection of his graduation party weekend or the beautiful dancer who turned his head and stole his heart.

When they reunite eight years later, the magic of their powerful attraction binds them together, but the past holds a secret that even love may not be able to overcome.

The Author's Den - The Mistress of Pennington's

Joining me in The Author's Den on this beautiful day is Rachel Brimble.
As the sun shines through the windows of the den on this beautiful summer day, Rachel and I are enjoying a chilled glass of white wine and chatting about her book, The Mistress of Pennington's.

Rachel, tell us a little about yourself.
I live near the famous city of Bath, England with my husband of 20 years, our two daughters and mad chocolate Labrador, Tyler. I write across the romance genres from contemporary romance, to romantic suspense, to Victorian romances and Edwardian sagas. Since 2007, I have had at least two books a year published, and I am thankful every day for being able to do what I love.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?
Social media – it is so incredibly distracting and takes up so much of my time. A very, very, guilty procrastination!

What does your writing space look like?
I am lucky enough to have my own home office which I love – I have a huge white desk with two corkboards above it where I pin visual aids to the books I’m working on. The window looks out into the garden and the other two walls house my collection of reference books, fiction and my own books.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
When I’m not writing I like to read, knit, watch TV and walk the English countryside with my family and friends.

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
Book 2 in the Pennington’s Department Store series is finished and currently with my editor, so I am busy working on book 3 as well as a shorter contemporary romance. Book 3 of the Pennington series will be a Christmas book where a thread that started in book 1 is finally dealt with which will make book 3 slightly more suspenseful than the first two. The contemporary romance is still very much in the plotting stage so I can’t tell you too much about that one, lol!

Let's take a peek at, The Mistress of Pennington's.
1910 – A compelling tale of female empowerment in Bath's leading department store. Perfect for the fans of the TV series Mr Selfridge and The Paradise.

Elizabeth Pennington should be the rightful heir of Bath's premier department store through her enterprising schemes and dogged hard work. Her father, Edward Pennington, believes his daughter lacks the business acumen to run his empire and is resolute a man will succeed him.

Determined to break from her father's iron-clad hold and prove she is worthy of inheriting the store, Elizabeth forms an unlikely alliance with ambitious and charismatic master glove-maker Joseph Carter. United they forge forward to bring Pennington's into a new decade, embracing woman's equality and progression whilst trying not to mix business and pleasure.

Can this dream team thwart Edward Pennington's plans for the store? Or will Edward prove himself an unshakeable force who will ultimately ruin both Elizabeth and Joseph?

The Author's Den - The Deep Well of Love and Murder

Joining me in The Author's Den on this beautiful day is Brenda Witeside. As the sun shines through the windows of the den, Brenda and I are enjoying a cup of Brenda's own blend of Candy Coffee (coconut and honey) and chatting about her book, The Deep Well of Love and Murder.

Brenda, tell us a little about yourself.
Born and raised a desert rat in Phoenix, Arizona, I didn’t know how much I preferred cooler climates until after marrying. I also learned I loved to travel. We’re gypsies at heart having lived in six states and two countries. We’re back in Arizona now, but farther north. We split our time between the pines in the north and the Tonto Basin in central Arizona. I published my first book in 2010. Wherever I open my laptop, I spend most of my time writing stories of discovery and love entangled with suspense.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?
Honestly, I’m not a procrastinator…or at least not about things I feel guilty about. I’ll stall cleaning the refrigerator or dusting the shelves if there’s something more interesting to do.

What does your writing space look like?
It’s everywhere. Since we’re in the RV most of the time, I write in bed or on the couch. I can do brief stints outside, but I’m much more distracted out there.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
Spending time with our five-year-old granddaughter is my favorite activity. When she’s not around, I love going to movies or taking long walks.

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
I have a series planned that takes place over two time periods—the late 60’s and present day. My fictional town is based on a mining town turned ghost town turned artsy/tourist town in the Arizona mountains called Jerome. My city is Joshua and the family that makes it their home.

Where can we find you and your books online?
You can find my books just about everywhere—Amazon of course, but also Kobo, B&N, iTunes, Google Play to name a few.

The Author's Den - Flight of the Raven

Joining me in The Author's Den on this beautiful day is Judith Sterling.

As the sun shines through the windows of the den, Judith and I are enjoying a glass of Riesling and chatting about her book, Flight of the Raven.

Judith, tell us a little about yourself.
Judith Sterling's love of history and passion for the paranormal infuse everything she writes. Flight of the Raven, Soul of the Wolf, and Shadow of the Swan are part of her medieval romance series, The Novels of Ravenwood. The Cauldron Stirred is the first book in her YA paranormal fantasy series, Guardians of Erin. Written under Judith Marshall, her nonfiction books--My Conversations with Angels and Past Lives, Present Stories--have been translated into multiple languages. She has an MA in linguistics and a BA in history, with a minor in British Studies. Born in that sauna called Florida, she craved cooler climes, and once the travel bug bit, she lived in England, Scotland, Sweden, Wisconsin, Virginia, and on the island of Nantucket. She currently lives in Salem, Massachusetts with her husband and their identical twin sons.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?
I don’t procrastinate often, but when I do, I’m either reading or watching a movie.

What does your writing space look like?
I have a small writing desk (with a standing desk on rollers at the ready) in front of a bay window which affords lots of light.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
Reading, watching classic movies, visiting historic sites, hanging out with my family, and working a part-time job at The Witch House here in Salem, Massachusetts.

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
I just finished The Stone Awakened—the second book of my Guardians of Erin young adult paranormal series—and turned it in to my editor. Now I’ll start writing Night of the Owl, the fourth book of my medieval romance series, The Novels of Ravenwood.

Where can we find you and your books online?
Look for Judith Sterling on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, The Wild Rose Press, Goodreads, on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/judithsterlingfiction/ and on my website at https://judithmarshallauthor.com/my-books/

Let's take a peek at, Flight of the Raven.
How eager would the bridegroom be if he knew he could never bed the bride?

Lady Emma of Ravenwood Keep is prepared to give Sir William l’Orage land, wealth, and her hand in marriage. But her virginity? Not unless he loves her. The curse that claimed her mother is clear: unless a Ravenwood heir is conceived in love, the mother will die in childbirth. Emma is determined to dodge the curse. Then William arrives, brandishing raw sensuality which dares her to explore her own.

William the Storm isn’t a man to be gainsaid. He’ll give her protection, loyalty, and as much tenderness as he can muster. But malignant memories quell the mere thought of love. To him, the curse is codswallop. He plans a seduction to breach Emma’s fears and raze her objections. What follows is a test of wills and an affirmation of the power of love.

The Author's Den - Love is Lovelier

Joining me in The Author's Den on this sunny day is Donna Simonetta.

Donna and I are enjoying a glass of lemon-lime seltzer water, and chatting about her book, Love is Lovelier.

Donna, tell us a little about yourself.
My career has been a winding road. I worked in the business world for years, got my MLS and worked in a school library, and am now living my dream as an author. I love to read and write contemporary and fantasy romance. I live in Maryland, with my husband, who is my real-life romance hero. We both enjoy traveling to visit our far-flung family and friends, and spending time on the beach with an umbrella drink and a good book.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?
At the moment, it’s one I think would surprise some people––a video game! I’ve been playing “Zelda Breath of the Wild”, and I love to play a little after I’m done writing for the day…and maybe, sometimes when I’m not actually done! Haha! It’s an amazing game---beautiful graphics, and so much fun to play!

What does your writing space look like?
When I quit my day job and started writing full-time, I cleaned out a cluttered room in our house, put together a little computer table we bought years ago and never did anything with, and set up a little office for my new writing career. I was so excited to have a space dedicated to my work. However, I found that I have a harder time writing there, than I did in my old writing space. I even struggled with writer’s block, which had never happened to me before! Now I’m back writing in my living room, where I used to write before my new office. My husband calls it my Command Center, because I have everything I need in arm’s reach. I sit in a comfy chair, and use my laptop computer on a lap desk. Next to me, is a basket with notebooks and binders on my current work-in-progress, and a table where I can keep my beverage, cell phone, and an assortment of pens and pencils. There are more distractions––television, music, and lots of windows from which I can look out at the world. But, for some reason, I actually am more productive at my Command Center, than I am in my more isolated new office space.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
I love to read. My favourite type of books are contemporary romance and cozy mysteries. As I said before, I’m enjoying playing Zelda right now, and I’m also a complete and utter TV-aholic. My fave types of programs are the ghost-hunting reality shows. I watch ALL of them!

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
Angels Fly is coming out on audio soon, about which I am super excited! It’s the first of my books to go to audio. I’m writing book 3 in the Rivers Bend trilogy, which is Jason and Lily’s story––the playboy Braden has finally met his match! I’m also working on a ghost story/romance, where the hero is a ghost hunter. See? All the ghostly reality shows I binge watch are just for research. Really. I swear.

Let's take a peek at, Love is Lovelier.
Heather and Mick have a long history together, and Heather wants to leave it in the past where it belongs. Yet, here Mick is, very much in her present, thanks to her brother Jeff, who hired Mick to be her boss at the Retreat at Rivers Bend.

It wouldn’t be so bad, except Heather and Mick are still attracted to each other like metal to a magnet. Oh, and her brother is considering offering Mick a partnership in the Retreat, which by rights should be hers. And even if they act on their attraction, Heather is a small-town, country girl, and proud of it, whereas Mick can’t get far enough from his West Virginia coal-mining roots.

Will they be able to get a second chance at their first love and find their happy ending together in Rivers Bend?

The Author's Den - It's Complicated

Joining me in The Author's Den on this beautiful day is Joyce Holmes.

As the sun shines through the windows of the den, Joyce and I are enjoying a glass of Cranberry Mojitos and chatting about her book, It's Complicated.

Joyce, tell us a little about yourself.
Joyce Holmes lives with her husband and tiny new puppy in the beautiful Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. Photography and blogging about her travels are two of her passions, along with visiting her kids and grandkids. When she’s not planning her next great adventure, she’s off enjoying the great outdoors.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?
I’ve never been a procrastinator. I was always the person who handed in homework early, and who got my taxes done as soon as I had all my slips, but now that I’m in ‘forced’ retirement and have no deadlines, I seem to not get anything done until I absolutely have to. There’s always tomorrow.

What does your writing space look like?
My ‘office’ is the smallest room of the house, and it contains two overflowing bookshelves, a filing cabinet and an old desk where my laptop sits. I have pictures of my grandkids on the desk and several notepads, along with a variety of pens of different coloured ink.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
Spending time with my kids and grandkids is what I enjoy most, but that doesn’t happen too often, so Hubby and I like to get outside and explore our beautiful city and province. We hike, bike, kayak and take long strolls. And, of course, I love to read every day. And play with my new puppy.

Let's take a peek at, It's Complicated.
She’s a children’s counselor devoted to helping others; he’s a stubborn client reluctant to accept her assistance. He wants a warm and loving relationship; she prefers to keep things physical. Professional boundaries dictate neither of them can have what they want.

Having grown up with no one but herself to count on, Maggie Lapage carefully guards her feelings. Professionally, she goes above and beyond to give others the support she wishes she'd had as a child. When she develops a forbidden attraction to a client’s father, she does what she thinks is necessary, to save his family, and to protect her own heart.

Tom O’Shay finds his life caught in a nightmare when he risks losing custody of his daughter. It goes against his character to seek help, but he doesn’t have a choice. That doesn’t mean he has to like it. Everything changes when he falls hard for his daughter’s counselor, and he suddenly has two fights on his hands. One for his daughter, and another for the woman he loves.

It’s complicated, but is it impossible?

The Author's Den - Hooked on a Phoenix

Joining me in The Author's Den on this sunny, spring day is Ashlyn Chase.

Ashlyn and I are enjoying a  cup of coffee with soy creamer. Ashlyn uses espresso, but she brews it like regular coffee. She learned that trick in Panama. "That’s one delicious, rich cup of coffee!"

Today we're chatting about her book, Hooked on a Phoenix.

Ashlyn, tell us a little about yourself.
I describe myself as an Almond Joy bar. A little nutty, a little flaky, but basically sweet, wanting only to give my readers some great entertainment. I have a degree in behavioral sciences, worked as a psychiatric RN for 15 years and spent a few more years working for the American Red Cross. Now, I write full time. Most authors, whether they know it or not, have a theme—something that unifies their whole booklist. My theme has to do with characters who reinvent themselves. After all, I’ve reinvented myself many times. Now a multi-published, best-selling, award-winning (and humble) author of humorous paranormal and contemporary romances, I’m represented by the Seymour Agency. I live in New Hampshire with my true-life superhero husband who looks like Hugh Jackman if you squint.

What’s your guilty procrastination secret?

When his boyhood friend asks him to watch over his little sister Misty, he reluctantly agrees. But when the bank where she works gets held up, Gabe does everything he can to protect her. The Author's Den - From the Front Desk

Joining me in The Author's Den on this wintry day is Lori Powers. Lori and I are enjoying a Chai Tea Latte (with a little zip of whiskey)! We're sitting by the fire and chatting about her upcoming new release, From the Front Desk.

Lori, tell us a little about yourself.
Let's face it...Lori likes tea and all things British. Most often found in the kitchen sharing stories, mug in hand, she can visit for hours. That's inspiration: people, places, adventure. Every day is made up of the moments to create the tapestry of life. To be able to put thoughts on paper and have other people appreciate the stories; laugh, cry, feel the passion, is a dream come true for Lori Power. Lori’s body of work is as varied as the adventures of daily life and includes children's stories, a Gluten-Free cookbook, romance, suspense, and thrillers. Collaboration is important to improving one’s craft and as such, Lori is an active member of the TransCanada Romance Writers, Romance Writers of America, The Alberta Romance Writers Association and belongs to both a Critiquing group and a Beta Reading weekly group.

What’s your guilty writing procrastination secret?
Finding the time from the “regular” job and family.

Where is your favourite writing spot?
At the cabin, on the lake, any time of year.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
I run, cook, craft—my son has gotten into clay works and that’s very tedious and exact. I’m not near the artist he is, but I am glad he takes the time to show me how to create figures with such detail.

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
I am presently in the throws with Book Three in the “Under Suspicion” series. Here we see Mitch and Lorna working toward a common goal, finally united.

The Author's Den - Wedding Bell Blues

Joining me in The Author's Den on this winter day is Susanne Matthews. Susanne and I are enjoying a cup of herbal tea! We're sitting by the fire and chatting about her upcoming new release, Wedding Bell Blues.

Susanne, tell us a little about yourself.
I live in Eastern Ontario, Canada with my husband of 46 years. We have three grown children and seven grandchildren. While my family is French-Canadian, my DNA tells a different story in that I’m 45% British with absolutely no French in the rest of the mix. That was indeed a surprise. I’ve always been an avid reader, but prefer stories with happy endings. I see reading as an escape from the reality of this world and want to feel better when I finish a book, not worse. I assume my readers do, too. After teaching for more than 30 years, I now spend my days writing and creating adventures, whether in a contemporary, historical, sci-fi, paranormal, or suspense setting. I love the ins and outs of romance, and the journey it takes me to get from the first word to the last period of a novel. As I write, my characters take on a life of their own, and steer the story, letting me share their fears and agonies, as well as a few surprises, on their way to self-discovery and love.

What’s your guilty writing procrastination secret?
I’m a consummate editor. I constantly go back and edit what I’ve written before moving on.

Where is your favourite writing spot?
I have my own office and that’s where I do all my writing. It’s warm, cozy, and quiet. If the door’s closed, no one bothers me.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
I love traveling, especially on a cruise ship. I enjoy being pampered, meeting people from all over the world, and seeing new things.

What can we look forward to with your upcoming or next writing project?
Wedding Bell Blues is my newest book and it’s a bit of a departure for me in that it isn’t primarily a suspense novel. There’s humor, misunderstanding, a search for treasure, and even mermaids in the mix, but mostly it’s a story of a girl finding that the first boy she ever loved was the one for her, and a man who’s been scarred by the ugliness of life realizing the girl he liked and admired all those years ago not only needs him but makes his soul whole once more.

Where can we find you online?
All of my books can be found through my website: https://mhsusannematthews.ca/

Lets take a peek at, Wedding Bell Blues!
Romance, mermaids, cursed treasure, and more.
MJ's having a bad year. She’s canceled her wedding, but refuses to give up the honeymoon. When she arrives on Paradise Island, she discovers her ex has changed the reservation. When Paul discovers the man behind her plight is the bully who made his own teen years hell, he gets MJ to agree to pretend to be his fiancée. Reluctantly, she agrees. Add in mermaids, treasure hunters, and Quimbois magic, and anything can happen—even falling in love.

We're sitting by the fire and chatting about her new audio release, Lawless Love.

Andrea, please tell us a little about yourself.
A native New Yorker who has spent most of her life drinking tea in the U.K., Andrea Downing now gets her coffee from Zabars in New York or drinks Jackson Hole Coffee in Wyoming. Her background in publishing and English Language teaching has transferred into fiction writing, and her love of horses, ranches, and rodeo is reflected in award-winning and best-selling historical and contemporary western romances.

Exercise! All that sitting at the computer needs a bit of relief.
